231 Model

On 22nd April 2021, Viterra Italy implemented the Model 231 preview by Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 and subsequent amendments.This model serves to prevent the administrative responsability of Viterra Italy in cases where Directors and/or employees may commit criminal offences. Model 231 facilitates the organisation, management and control of all the activities carried out in the name and on behalf of Viterra Italy.

All our suppliers of goods or services, as well as collaborators or commercial partners,  are invited to read the Model 231 and the Ethics Code.

In any case of non-compliance with one of the provisions of the Model during the course of any activity carried out in the name and on behalf of Viterra Italy, it will be considered a form of illicit behaviour and therefore condemned as contrary to both the provisions of the law and ethical-social principles adopted by our company.

In application of the disciplinary system in question, and as consequence of these offences, the legal termination of the contractual relationship may be occurred, even without notice, from the relationship itself.

Viterra Italy has also appointed the Organismo di Vigilanza, in charge of the protection and control for the effective application of the Model.

Furthermore, in order to facilitate information flows to said control body, Viterra Italy has also set up an e-mail box in order to report any alleged violations directly to the Organismo di Vigilanza.
